Authorities in Warrensburg, Missouri, are looking into a deadly shooting that took place early Wednesday morning, which led to the death of 43-year-old Tony Barron. The incident involved Glyzua Ingram, an airman not on duty from Whiteman Air Force Base, who is thought to have fatally shot Barron before ending his own life.
The event occurred at approximately 7:20 a.m. on Cedar Drive, when police arrived at the scene to investigate a reported domestic issue. Upon their arrival, they discovered Barron, who was not armed, had sustained gunshot wounds. Ingram was found deceased at the location, appearing to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officials have stated that no officers discharged their weapons during the event, and no other individuals were harmed in the shooting.
A woman who witnessed the disturbance received treatment for minor injuries and has already been discharged. The reason for the shooting remains under investigation, and authorities are trying to uncover what caused this unfortunate situation.
