NorKam Secondary School located in Kamloops is on lockdown due to a current threat.

On Thursday afternoon, NorKam Secondary School in Kamloops was placed on lockdown after officials responded to a credible threat involving a possible weapon on campus. Eyewitness accounts reported seeing over twenty police cars arrive at the educational institution situated on Tranquille Road shortly after the lockdown signal was activated. Law enforcement personnel, some equipped with rifles, entered the facility while students and faculty stayed locked in their classrooms.
