According to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, Garcia was hit just after 12:30 a.m. while he was on the road south of MacArthur Road. Despite the swift action of deputies and emergency medical services, Garcia unfortunately passed away from his injuries at a nearby hospital.
