In Cherished Remembrance of Michael Terry

when an SUV was heading south on SR-19 while Michael was traveling east on Horseman Club Road. When Michael entered the intersection, the SUV hit the back of his minibike, causing him to be thrown onto the street. Despite the quick response of helpers, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Michael's unexpected death has left his family and friends heartbroken. At just 21 years old, he was a young individual filled with potential — a person whose warmth, humor, and caring personality endeared him to everyone around him. Those who were closest to him note that he had a remarkable ability to make others feel acknowledged and appreciated, and his selflessness naturally attracted people to him. His loss in such a tragic manner has created a gap that is difficult to articulate.

The 52-year-old woman driving the SUV and her 12-year-old passenger emerged unscathed, yet the emotional burden of the incident continues to weigh heavily on all those affected by this heartbreaking event. While investigations into the situation are ongoing, the community is directing its efforts towards supporting Michael’s grieving family and commemorating the life of someone who was taken from them far too early.

This evening, family and friends cherish the memories they created with him — the joy, the discussions, and the ambitions he aspired to achieve. Although Michael is no longer physically present with his loved ones, his spirit endures in the hearts of those who will perpetually remember him.

May Michael Terry find eternal peace, always celebrated for the love he shared, the brightness he brought into the world, and the profound influence he had during his brief 21 years.
