AUBURN, Ala. — The Auburn community is in sorrow after the untimely death of Jennifer Cooper, a cherished local entrepreneur, mother, and former educator, who passed away Tuesday morning following an accident at East University Drive and Alfa Court. The collision, which involved a car and a school bus, took place around 8 a.m. CST. Despite the quick response from emergency services, Cooper was declared dead at 8:09 a.m. by Lee County Coroner Daniel Sexton.
Jennifer Cooper was well-recognized as the proprietor of GiGi’s Cupcakes, which had locations in Opelika, Alabama, and Columbus, Georgia.
