Born in Saginaw, Michigan, Phil spent his formative years in the area and proudly graduated from Heritage High School. He pursued higher education at Michigan State University, remaining closely tied to his origins throughout his entire life. Phil exhibited a strong sense of belonging to his community, showcasing loyalty and camaraderie, traits that made him an adored individual among those he interacted with.
