Investigators from the Gilford police are currently looking into the reasons behind the vehicle's crossing of the center line, and the exact cause has not yet been confirmed by officials.

The deceased have been named as 20-year-old Grady Shoemaker from Laconia and 63-year-old Renee Privitera from Belmont, both of whom were found dead at the crash scene.
