A Kansas town is grappling with the devastating loss of a young family of three, who sadly lost their lives in an accident early on Monday, November 10, 2025. The incident took place northwest of Neodesha on Granby Avenue, as reported by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
According to officials, 21-year-old Adam Brooks was heading west when he neglected to yield at a stop sign at the crossroads of U.S. Highway 400. His car struck an approach semi-truck, leading to a collision that resulted in the fatalities of Adam, his spouse Kylie Brooks, also aged 21, and their 2-year-old child, Kohen Brooks.
Kylie was declared dead at the location, while Adam was taken to Wilson Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries by approximately 8:00 a.m. Young Kohen, who was airlifted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, unfortunately died an hour later due to his injuries. Authorities have stated that none of the family members had their seatbelts fastened during the accident. The semi-truck driver remained uninjured.
The Brooks family, remembered for being devoted parents and affectionate partners, were known for their strong connection and their cheerful, radiant son. Neighbors and friends have voiced their disbelief and grief over the loss of a family that had so much potential and love ahead of them.
