Authorities have verified that Jacqueline Chiodo, age 43, who was reported as missing after leaving Upstate Community Hospital yesterday, has been discovered deceased.

Jacqueline, who had been released around 1:00 PM, was last spotted walking along West Seneca Turnpike in Syracuse. She did not utilize her scheduled Uber ride, and the last confirmed sighting of her indicated that she was dressed in green pants and a purple jacket.

The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office initiated an immediate search for Jacqueline, requesting the public's assistance for any details that could help find her. Sadly, following a thorough search, her body was found in a wooded location at the city's edge, not far from where she was last observed.

Jacqueline stood at 5’4″ and weighed about 140 lbs, with brown eyes and brown hair. Authorities have announced that the cause of her death is being investigated, and they are encouraging anyone who might have noticed her in the hours following her disappearance to step forward.
