PASADENA, Maryland — A profound sense of sorrow and disbelief has enveloped the Pasadena area following the tragic discovery of a cherished couple, 56-year-old William Hayes and 54-year-old Jenna Hayes, who were found fatally shot in their residence
on Sunday. Fondly referred to online as Charlie N Jeanna Hayes, this couple ran CW Hayes Home Improvement and garnered significant respect for their generosity, work ethic, and commitment to supporting others.
Pasadena law enforcement received a report of a shooting at approximately 1:55 p.m. in the 1700 block of Twickenham Road. Upon their arrival, officers found William and Jenna with gunshot injuries. Despite the immediate response from emergency personnel, both were declared dead at the scene. The heartbreaking nature of their deaths has caused widespread devastation among friends and neighbors.
Later that day, police took 61-year-old Anthony Louis Reyes from Nottingham, Maryland, into custody in relation to the double homicide. Officers noted his black Toyota Camry with out-of-state tags parked close to the 1600 block of Bluestone Street and attempted to intercept the vehicle. Reyes attempted to evade capture, resulting in a police chase that concluded near 97 South and Quarterfield Road. Following a brief struggle, officers managed to apprehend him. He is now facing charges of first-degree murder.
