Kan. — The Wichita community is grieving the heartbreaking death of Harley Wright, 27, who tragically passed away in the early morning of November 17, 2025, following a rollover accident in Butler County. Harley was driving with two young children, ages 5 and 6,
when the vehicle is said to have flipped multiple times close to the junction of NW 30th and NW Tawakoni Road, situated north-northeast of Benton. First responders discovered Harley and the children outside the car. While Harley was declared deceased at the site of the accident, the children were urgently transported to a hospital in the Wichita region with serious injuries.
Officials stated that Harley had departed from a family gathering around 7:30 p.m. to take the children to El Dorado but never made it there. Alarmed family members reached out to law enforcement for a wellness check, and shortly after 1:00 a.m., the tragic crash was found.
Harley was a cherished mother, daughter, and friend, known for her affection, gentleness, and deep love for her kids.
