Brodarrien Tate Spartanburg County, Sc Shooting: Youth in Spartanburg Killed by Gunfire at Housing Complex
A shooting at the Bryant Apartment Complex on Bryant Road in Spartanburg County claimed the life of a 16-year-old named Brodarrien Tate on Monday evening. In addition, a 34-year-old bystander was shot while attempting to help Brodarrien. The adult sustained a leg injury and is projected to have a full recovery.
As reported by the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, Brodarrien was fatally wounded in a parking area close to his home. Coroner Rusty Clevenger characterized the young man's demise as a devastating loss for the local community.
