 It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Anthony Marquart, originally from Red Deer, Alberta, who resided in Regina, Saskatchewan. He departed from this world on November 23, 2025, at the age of 53.


The loss of Anthony creates an emptiness in the hearts of his loved ones, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Family, friends, and members of the community are encouraged to pay tribute to his legacy by sending flowers, leaving messages of sympathy on his memorial page, or simply taking time to reminisce about the positive influence he brought to their lives.

Anthony was an individual whose life exemplified warmth, compassion, and steadfast integrity. He possessed a unique ability to form deep connections, ensuring everyone he encountered felt appreciated and understood.

His presence served as both stabilizing and uplifting — a soothing force during uncertain times and a source of inspiration when faced with difficulties. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him often reflect on his hearty laugh, wise advice, and the calming, reliable strength he provided to both family and friends.

He was born to his cherished mother, Theresa, who had passed before him, and his father, Ken, and he valued his family above all things. He was a dedicated partner to Patty Gourgaris and an attentive father to his children, Kenneth, Mila, Vianne, and Colin.

His affection for them was clear in every expression, action, and gesture, as he guided them through life's journey with love, wisdom, and steadfast support. Anthony also enjoyed a strong connection with his siblings, Russ (Veronica) and Curtis (Melanie), and his nieces, Hailey, Jillian, and Tessa, with whom he created countless happy memories, laughter, and cherished family traditions which will be admired for years to come.

Anthony’s influence reached far beyond just his family. He positively impacted the lives of coworkers, neighbors, and friends through his generosity, eagerness to assist, and his natural gift for elevating those in his company.

Through mentorship, involvement in the community, or simple acts of kindness, Anthony made a lasting impression on everyone he met. His existence was an embodiment of compassion, integrity, and the quiet heroism that is evident in daily acts of kindness.

A memorial service in honor of Anthony's extraordinary life will take place on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 3:30 PM at Speers Funeral Chapel, located at 2136 College Ave, Regina, SK S4P 1C5.
