The residents of East Prairie, Missouri, were deeply saddened by the death of Joseph Lawrence Farver, who passed away on October 4, 2025, near Advance, at the young age of 22.
On August 7, 2003, Joseph, the beloved son of Joe Farver and Amber Jenkins, was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas. His passing has left everyone who had the good fortune to know him, including his family and friends, extremely heartbroken.
Joseph's career as a proud and hardworking Union Carpenter showed his strength, dedication, and drive for excellence. He approached his profession with pride and attention to detail, often going above and beyond to help others on and off the job site.
His warmth and compassion were what truly set him apart, but his dependability and excellent work ethic earned him the respect of his peers. When Joseph was not working, he enjoyed being outside.
He found happiness and peace in hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to create cherished memories with friends and loved ones and connect with nature.
However, he found that nothing was more fun than spending time with his girlfriend, Ryanne Ambrose, and their three beloved dogs, Dally, Sarge, and Copper. His affection for animals was as genuine as his love for people; his dogs were his buddies and a treasured aspect of his life.
Those who knew Joseph will always remember how he brought joy to every area he entered. His humor was contagious, and his heart made everyone feel welcome.
Friends and family describe him as selfless, kind, and reliable, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer assistance to those in need. His natural propensity to prioritize others over himself earned him the affectionate nickname "everyone's caregiver."
Joseph's family meant the world to him. He is survived by his loving mother, Amber (Brodie) Harkness of Dexter, his devoted father, Joe Farver of Advance, his girlfriend, Ryanne Ambrose of East Prairie, and their cherished dogs.
He also leaves behind his brother, Joshua Farver of Dexter; his great-grandmother, Doris Langston of Bloomfield; his grandmother, Elizabeth Warren of Dexter; and his sister, Addison Loftus of Warrenton, Missouri. Each one contains countless memories of Joseph's friendliness, warmth, and humor.
His grandmother, Candy Farver, his great-great-grandfather, Bob Langston, and his great-great-grandfather, Joseph Lawrence James, whose name he proudly wore, all died before him.
