It is assumed that a gay couple at Montréal's MR250 Bar Lounge committed suicide.

Two men were killed in a sad murder-suicide that happened late Friday night in a popular Plateau-Mont-Royal pub. The police in Montréal are looking into the incident. The officials verified the romantic link between the victims.

The MR250 Bar Lounge, which is situated on the Avenue du Mont-Royal, near the Avenue Laval, was the scene of numerous 911 calls at around 23 hours, according to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), indicating that there were fires inside the company.

The cops saw that a few of the clients were in a panic when they got there. They discovered two individuals inside who had already lost to Balle.

Investigators came to the conclusion that there had been a murder and a suicide, SPVM parole officer Véronique Dubuc said on Saturday.

"It was a homicide followed by a suicide," Dubuc stated throughout the investigation. "This drama's overarching topic has not yet been determined."

The police confirmed that the suspect, a man in quarantine, and the victim, a male in quarantine, were in a relationship. The cause of this fatal altercation inside the pub is being investigated by the investigators.

Authorities have made it clear that organized crime had nothing to do with the occurrence.

The MR250 Bar Lounge, a popular location in Montréal's LGBTQ+ nightlife, expressed its deep sorrow after the incident. In a message shared on its Facebook site, the restaurant offered its condolences:

During the night, a sizable security cordon was established while the SPVM's senior criminal detectives and crime scene experts examined the area and the CCTV footage.

On Saturday, police questioned witnesses who were present when the feuds took place. The families have not yet been informed of the two men's identities.

Montréal residents and members of the LGBTQ+ community have expressed their sadness and loss in response to the news, with many highlighting the value of support in mental health and interpersonal connections.

The events leading up to this disaster are still being looked into and pieced together by the authorities.
