Two people were injured and Neil David Blevins lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Blount County.

 The Blount County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) reports that a two-motorcycle collision on Old Walland Highway on Saturday night resulted in the death of Neil David Blevins and the injuries of two others.

Deputies report that the collision happened at around 5:00 p.m. near the intersection of Ellejoy Road and Cold Springs Road. According to the crash report, Blevins was traveling east on Old Walland Highway when he crossed the center line and collided with another motorcycle.

Blevins was pronounced dead at the scene. Information about the health of the two additional individuals injured in the collision has not been made public by authorities.

The Blount County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the cause of the crash.
