 Simone Senogles, a beloved and respected member of the Bemidji, Minnesota community, served as the Operations Director for the Indigenous Environmental Network (IEN). Simone is renowned for her strong leadership, loving personality, and unwavering commitment to justice. She dedicated her life to improving people's lives and protecting the environment.



Simone promoted environmental justice, assisted Indigenous communities, and mentored many coworkers and allies over her career. Her ability to inspire, empower, and organize made her an essential part of the IEN team. In addition to her strategic brilliance, she will be remembered for her compassion and patience in every circumstance.
