On Friday, August 29, 2025, Thomas Arnold Bosman, 86, passed away. He was a devoted spouse, a proud parent, and a hard worker.
Tom has spent his entire life in Wisconsin, having been born there in 1939 in Appleton. He completed his education at Mary D. Bradford High School. He went on to GTI to study Power Fluid Technology, which equipped him for an amazing 46-year career with AMC & Chrysler.
From 1955 to 1958, Tom served with distinction in the U.S. Army National Guard, answering the call of duty with the same steadfast dedication that he had demonstrated throughout his life.
Fate stepped in when Tom walked into a local coffee shop in 1960 and was handed a thermos of milk, a donut, and a cup of hot coffee by a young woman named Carol Erhardt Carey. Tom and Carol were married in 1962 and lived a pleasant life together till Carol passed away in 2024.
They raised five children together: Christopher (Jenny) Bosman, Francine (Mark) Hooper, Trisha (Todd) Moore, Kimberly (Jason) Smith, and Daniel Bosman. With seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, Tom was a loving and proud grandfather who embraced every new generation.
Whether it was telling stories, working hard to provide for his family, or simply being there when it mattered, Tom will be remembered for his unwavering presence, his strong morals, and his acts of love. His legacy is perpetuated by his example and the lives of those he loved.
His parents, Irene (Hawley) and Arnold Bosman, brother David Greco, stepfather Frank Greco, wife Carol, and sister Susan (Greco) Marcoe all died before him. His surviving family will never forget him.
There will be a private family service to honor Tom's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you offer a kind comment, a joyful memory, or a quiet moment of reflection in honor of a man who never sought attention but always shone brilliantly.
We are especially grateful to Dr. Antonio Montemurro and his staff, Dina Flannery, and the Hospice Alliance for their thoughtful and kind care.
