Jefferson County: Wife Missing or Maybe on the Run Husband Found Dead

 DITTMER, MO — After discovering a man dead inside his Canyon Lane house on Saturday afternoon, Jefferson County authorities are looking into a homicide.

Around 4 p.m. on August 30, deputies arrived in the 8000 block of Canyon Lane in Dittmer and found the body of Robert Malcom, 60, who resided there. Although more information on the cause of death has not been made public, officials have established that Malcom was the victim of a homicide.

Now, investigators are trying to find his wife, Stacy Jay-Malcom, whose location is still unknown. Whether she is missing, in danger, or even on the run has not been established by detectives. The ongoing investigation is centered on her disappearance.
