We are deeply saddened to announce the untimely death of 8-year-old Greyson Maiden in a drowning tragedy that occurred in Hoover, Alabama, on Saturday, August 30, 2025. His brilliant soul was gone way too soon.
Greyson was a happy child whose smile warmed everyone around him and whose laughter filled a room. Even though he was only eight years old, his warmth, enthusiasm, and the purest love that only a child can give changed the lives of countless people. Knowing Greyson meant knowing curiosity, purity, and the beauty of a soul free from the burdens of life.
His humorous demeanor, limitless creativity, and capacity to make friends and family happy will always be cherished by all who knew him. He was incredibly loved, and his departure creates an emptiness that words cannot adequately convey.
Greyson's loved ones will always carry his memories in their hearts despite this unfathomable loss. The love he provided and the joy he shared will always be remembered, even though his life was far too brief.
Sweet Greyson, may you rest in peace. Everyone who loves you will still see your light shining in their hearts.
